Vodafone Idea has reportedly launched a “New Year Offer” in India to encourage customers to towards making recharges. Under the new offer, it is said that the telco is offering customers with an Amazon Pay voucher worth Rs. 30. This can be used to pay utility bills, mobile and DTH recharges, and purchase products on Amazon.in directly via Amazon Pay. The new offer comes with a minimum recharge requirement of Rs. 95. However, with the Amazon Pay voucher, customers get the Rs. 95 recharge at an effective price of Rs. 65.

Under the New Year Offer, Vodafone Idea is offering a Rs. 30 Amazon Pay voucher to all customers who make a recharge of Rs. 95 or more, reports TelecomTalk. The voucher can be used to make payments for utilities, mobile, and DTH recharges, as well as purchasing products on Amazon.in.

Notably, it is said that the Amazon Pay voucher has been offered under the new offer to all Vodafone and Idea prepaid customers with a minimum recharge limit of Rs. 95. The offer is reportedly valid until January 10.

We weren’t able to spot the reported New Year Offer after selecting the recharge options through Vodafone and Idea websites. However, we’ve reached out to Vodafone Idea to confirm the development and will update this space accordingly.

Back in July, Vodafone tied up with Amazon India to offer a 50 percent discount to its prepaid subscribers buying an Amazon Prime subscription. The telco is also importantly offering Amazon Prime membership with all the Vodafone Red postpaid plans.

Vodafone earlier this month brought its ‘100 percent cashback’ offer to provide cashback vouchers on select recharge options. That offer particularly arrived for Rs. 399, Rs. 458, and Rs. 509 recharge packs, and the 100 percent cashback vouchers are being provided for subsequent recharge via the My Vodafone app.
