New Honor 10 Lite India Launch Set for January 15, Will Be a Flipkart Exclusive

Honor had a good year in 2018, and the brand is already on the path to rise. Only a few days ago we got some hints and pointers about the likely launch of the new Honor phone, the Honor 10 Lite. Now courtesy of a new landing page on Flipkart, we have even more information about the Honor 10 Lite. Unlike the previous Flipkart landing page which did not indulge us in much information about the new phone, this page tells us more details about the launch date of the phone and its specifications as well. As per the Flipkart page, the phone will go live on sale on January 15, and it will be a Flipkart exclusive device.

Honor 10 Flipkart Landing Page Live Now

With a single look at the Honor 10 Lite landing page on Flipkart, it is clear that the phone is going to target selfie enthusiasts with its front camera. The landing page highlights the same aspect of the phone by boasting about the 24MP front snapper on the device which comes enabled with AI features. The page also informs that the AI features on the front camera will allow it to detect over 200 scenarios across eight modes. Not only this, but Honor has also displayed some of the selfies taken by the Honor 10 Lite on the webpage compared against the selfies taken by other smartphones in the same segment.

Another thing to note about the Honor 10 Lite is its Kirin 710 chipset which is Honor’s bet against the other phones which include the Snapdragon 6 series processor or the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. The landing page has also pointed out that the Honor 10 Lite will most probably be available in a single variant with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, in China, the Honor 10 Lite also comes in a 6GB+128GB version.

Honor 10 Lite: Specifications and Features

Since the Honor 10 Lite has already been launched in China, we know that it is going to sport a waterdrop notch with 6.21-inch IPS LCD panel on an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. A unique feature on the Honor 10 Lite will be the TUV Rheinland Certified eye-care mode. Like it is the case with almost all Honor and Huawei phones, this device will also boast of having good aesthetics thanks to the tall display and high screen to body ratio. It is likely that the smartphone will be available in India in three colour variants, and one of them will be the fashionable gradient back offering by Honor.

The connectivity options on the Honor 10 Lite include Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, FM Radio, NFC, GPS, and 4G VoLTE. On the lower edge, the phone sports a micro-USB port and the battery on this device is a 3400mAh one. On the software front, the phone runs EMUI 9 on top of Android 9 Pie. The phone will be unveiled on January 8th, and it will go live on sale on January 15. We expect the smartphone to be priced around Rs 17,000 and Rs 20,000.
