New Airtel Launches Rs 76 Prepaid Recharge for New Users, Offers Rs 26 Talk Time and 100MB Data

Expanding its First Recharge plans portfolio, Bharti Airtel has unveiled a new prepaid plan of Rs 76 which offers talk time, rate cutter and data benefits for a period of 28 days. This new plan from Airtel joins the other existing FRC plans of the telco- Rs 178, Rs 229, Rs 344, Rs 495 and Rs 559. Essentially, the newly introduced Rs 76 recharge provides benefits of the Rs 35 Smart Recharge plan which the telco introduced recently. The Rs 559 First Recharge plan for new users offers 126GB of 4G data along with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day for 90 days. Even Vodafone Idea has the similar First Recharge prepaid plans, while Jio offers the same prepaid plans as existing ones alongside charging additional Rs 99 for JioPrime membership.

Airtel FRC 76: Benefits and Validity Period

The newly launched Rs 76 prepaid plan from Bharti Airtel offers Rs 26 talk time and all the voice calls will be charged at 60 paise per minute. Furthermore, users will also get 100MB of 2G/3G/4G data valid for a period of 28 days.

Airtel FRC 178: Benefits and Validity Period

Aforementioned, Airtel’s first recharge plans start at Rs 178 and it offers benefits of unlimited local, STD and roaming outgoing calls, 100 SMS per day and 1GB of 3G/4G data for a period of 28 days. This is the same plan Airtel is offering for existing users at a price of Rs 149, although as a segmented plan.

Airtel FRC 229: Benefits and Validity Period

Moving onto the FRC 229 prepaid plan, Airtel is offering similar benefits of unlimited voice calling even in national roaming, 100 SMS per day and 1.4GB data per day for a period of 28 days. To recall, the same plan’s is being offered by Airtel to existing users at Rs 199.

Airtel FRC 344: Benefits and Validity Period

Next on the list, we have the FRC 344, which offers a decent 2GB data benefit per day for 28 days. Other than these, Airtel also provides an unlimited user voice calls without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day during the validity period.

Airtel FRC 495 and FRC 559: Benefits and Validity Period

Lastly, we have the FRC 495 and FRC 559 prepaid plans offering benefits for 84 days and 90 days. Both the plans offer similar benefits of unlimited local, STD and national roaming outgoing calls, 100 SMS per day and 1.4GB data benefit per day. The data benefit can be availed as 2G or 3G or 4G.

Airtel First Recharge Plans: Terms and Conditions

Airtel has some terms and conditions on these first recharge plans. The telco is offering voice calling only for normal usage and if the company finds a user misusing the unlimited voice calling benefit, then the benefits will be taken off from that particular mobile number. Another thing worth noting is that these prepaid plans can be availed only via My Airtel app or website, other than at the time of availing the SIM card.
