Vodafone Revises Rs 199 and Rs 399 Prepaid Plans

The Rs 199 prepaid plan by Vodafone now offers 1.5GB daily 2G/3G/4G data, totalling its entire data benefit to 42GB 4G data with a validity of 28 days. On top of that, the other benefits of the plan include unlimited local and national calling, SMS and roaming. Subscribers should also make note that the 1.5GB data comes with FUP limit meaning that the speed gets throttled down when the limit is exhausted. Previously, this plan used to offer 1.4GB daily data meaning that now it provides 100MB extra data to the users.

The Rs 399 prepaid plan is another pack by Vodafone which has undergone revision and now it comes with a validity of 84 days and a daily data offering of 1GB. This plan also offers unlimited STD calling, 100 SMS and roaming. To recall, earlier the same plan used to offer 1.4GB of daily data for 70 days, meaning that now the validity of the plan has been increased and the daily data cap has been decreased. Notably, Vodafone also reduced the overall data benefit.

Vodafone Rs 199 and Rs 399 Calling Cap

Another thing which the subscribers of the Rs 399 and Rs 199 prepaid plan should note is that both of these plans come with a daily and weekly max calling cap. Therefore subscribers are limited to making only 250 minutes to call in a day, while there is a max cap on 1000 minutes of calling weekly. After hitting the FUP limit, the subscribers will be charged at 1.2 paise per second or Re 1 per minute depending on the usage. A similar cap has been laid on the data usage as well, so when users exhaust their FUP limit, they will be charged at 50 paise per MB.
